Simply register your team now and compete any time you decide during 2017, starting January 2, 2017.
Whenever you are ready to compete, log in to 48musicproject.com. Go to your profile and when you are ready just push the button “Start my COMPETITION”. Immediately our system will randomly generate your Song Theme and your Golden Key, then your official 48 hours countdown just started.
You’ve got 48 hours to create your song - meaning to create everything - composing, editing, recording, and producing! Your completed song should be between 2 and 4 minutes long.
SONG THEME
This will be an idea for the inspiration and theme of the song. Some examples of themes we might use are as follows:
- Wild Beauty
- Sweet Breakup
- Overcoming Defeat
- Tribute Song (for a favorite entertainer)
- Fame and fortune
- Lifelong Friendship
- Growing up
- Becoming better
- Deep Loneliness
- Love Song
- Celebration and Victory

You are able to compete for 48Music.com any time you like starting January 2, until November 30, 2017.
GOLDEN KEY
The Golden Key is simply a word or phrase that has to be used in your song lyrics.
Warning: Use golden key exactly as specified with not even a minor change, other wise your song will no qualify. You can repeat as many times as you like; it is up to you. All we need is to listen to it at least once.

Pop, alternative, rock, blues, heavy metal, country, opera, arena rock, electronica, hip-hop, dance, easy listening, reggae, punk, ska, rockabilly! There’s no room to name them all, but you have the freedom to groove to your own beat. We love it all! We do not dictate the style of your music in any way whatsoever. Remember that this is YOUR #48MUSIC FREEDOM.
